Hi, I’m Erika — a Sacramento-based photographer, makeup artist, and fashion lover with a passion for telling stories through portraits.

My journey began in elementary school, sneaking my mom’s camera to capture moments of my friends. In 2010, I picked up my first DSLR to photograph my two little girls — and I haven’t put it down since.

Over time, I built a career turning everyday women and families into timeless works of art. In 2017, I stepped into boudoir photography alongside my husband, Justin, with Privé Nia Boudoir — creating a space where women could reconnect with their power, beauty, and confidence.

Today, I specialize in both bold, empowering boudoir sessions and classic portraits for families, graduates, and milestone moments. Whether I’m shooting in-studio or on-location, my goal is always the same: to create images that make you feel seen and celebrated.

I’ve turned a creative hobby into a full-time business — and now I get to help my clients turn memories into art.

What’s in the name?

My middle name is Yesenia, and my last name is Young — which inspired Nia Jeune (Nia from YeseNia, Jeune meaning “young” in French).

While I love celebrating my clients’ beauty and stories by sharing their images in my portfolio and social media, I completely understand that some moments are meant to stay personal. A privacy option is always available for those who prefer to keep their images exclusive.
